Branded email sending is separate from account invitations, payment-provider receipts, and the domain that serves a Flow.
1

Open the sender setup

Select the App, open Governance → Marketing emails, and add a sending subdomain controlled by the customer, such as mail.example.com.
2

Add only the shown DNS records

Copy the exact Type, Name and Value shown by FloKit. Do not replace unrelated MX or TXT records and do not create a second conflicting SPF record.
3

Verify the domain

Select Verify after DNS has propagated. A request being accepted does not mean the provider has verified the domain; the saved status remains pending until the provider confirms it.
4

Confirm the sender identity

Review the exact From name, From address and Reply-To address. A configured but unverified sender cannot send live branded email.
5

Run the constrained test

Send only to the permitted test recipient shown in FloKit. Confirm the provider delivery result and the actual From and Reply-To headers. This test does not enable unrestricted sending.
Consent, unsubscribe and suppression checks remain enforced at delivery time. You can continue other setup while DNS or provider verification is pending.
