# Restart App context safely

> Rebuild context with retained history and unchanged campaigns, Flows, assets, and connections.

Use a restart only when the active product context should be replaced. Adding a
new source is an ordinary additive action and does not need a restart.

  <Step title="Open the impact preview">
    Select one App, open **Asset Library → Context**, and choose **Restart
    context setup**. Review the jobs, selected assets, retained sources and
    frozen or published Flow usage shown by FloKit.

  <Step title="Confirm the restart">
    The previous approved context is retained. Account and legal settings,
    payment connections, pricing, domains, email, webhooks, uploaded asset bytes,
    existing campaigns, published Flows and frozen snapshots are unchanged.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose sources and review">
    Select previous sources to reuse or add new sources. Review product facts,
    audiences and Asset Library selections. You can close the page and return;
    the rebuild and its exact jobs remain saved.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve for new work">
    New context-dependent generation waits while the rebuild is unapproved.
    Choose **Approve for new work** only after all reviews are complete.

Canceling a rebuild does not silently restore an older version. Use **View
previous context → Restore this version** for an explicit, audited restore.
